BIG NEWS!!!
Saturday May 10th - 9:30a.m. The Men's Ministry will be hosting a Mother's Day breakfast (open to everyone!). The menu will be eggs, bacon, and flapjacks with fresh fruit, granola, and yogurt. Make sure to come and celebrate Mom's Day with us!
Sunday May 11th - Mother's Day - Join us for a special Mother's Day message and Baby and Child Dedication service. This service is open to anyone who has a child, from newborn to teen, and would like to take this time to dedicate their life to God. What does that mean? As a parent, we recognize that we are responsible for our kids, but that God is ultimately in control. In the service the parents make a commitment to "train up a child in the way they should go", and the church community commits to help make that happen. It is always a special time for families and the church. Each child will receive a dedication certificate and commemorative bible.
Welcome to the C3AK website. We're glad you stopped in to check us out. Take a few minutes and see who we are and what we're about. Also, be sure to stop in to the PODCAST page and the BLOG PAGES to hear Sunday messages and read weeklymeditations. They are updated as quickly as we can get to them.
We will resume our Sunday Series called "Ready, Set... LIFE!" beginning in April. I think you will find this series to be helpful and inspiring. Each week we will direct our thinking toward both practical application and the spiritual discovery of stories and themes from the Bible. Specifically, we'll be talking about how we can approach the "game" of life with our priorities pointed in the right direction and how truth from the Bible can help us do it. We'll talk about:
- how to be a REAL winner (it isn't always about being first!)
- the importance of losing well (it happens a lot)
- recognizing and keeping the right trophies as we "play" the game (it isn't "stuff" either)
- and much more...
