Sound Person
Every Sunday we gather together to hang out, worship with singing and praying, and listen to authentic teaching from the Bible. In order to make this happen we use a lot of sound technology. This technology allows us to use microphones and instruments, video and speakers. What we are missing might be YOU!
We need a dedicated person (or persons) who is interested in becoming part of the Worship Team. Our sound person needs to be present for Tuesday night rehearsal and Sunday morning worship service. Serious commitment is required and serious interest is as well.
The person for this ministry should have the following qualities:
- available Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00
- present for Sunday worship almost all the time
- ready to build deeper friendships in the Worship Team Community
- able to handle the occasional stressful moments of non-working sound gear
- interested in and not afraid of technology
- able to multi-task
- musical; able to sing or play an instrument or able to tell when some sounds are too loud/quiet; a general appreciation for and ability to identify good sound.
