with Brother Will!

Our friend, church member, brother Nate LaValley was involved in a motorcycle accident on August 16th. He suffered numerous broken bones, road rash over 60%-70% of his body, other injuries and he is in the ICU at Providence at this time. He was wearing a helmet and we are thankful for that. Unfortunately, since the time this hospital picture was taken, his condition has worsened as he has suffered a stroke in his cerebellum and undergone brain surgery to relieve swelling and deal with the blood clot. Last word I have is this surgery was successful, on top of the many surgeries he's already endured with more on the way. It is unknown, at this time, the full extent of his injuries from the stroke incident. Additionally, Nate has a tear in his aorta which cannot be treated at this time, as he cannot tolerate blood thinners due to some of his other injuries. Pray specifically there will be no more blood clot issues that may cause additional stroke activity while his aorta is healing. Nate suffered another setback this when he contracted a C. Diff infection, as a result of the high power antibiotics he is receiving. With the cost of ICU care, surgeries, and the rehabilitation he will need, the challenges he will face both physically and financially are impossible to fully understand. I know Nate will bring everything he has to his recovery and I'm hoping you can join me in doing whatever you can to assist with his medical care. Even with insurance, an event like this financially devastating as he will be unable to work for as much as a year. Join us, Brother Will, for a night of music and compassion; Bring a dessert to share with the crowd , and Christ Community Church will provide beverages, coffee, and soft drinks. A suggested $25 donation per adult, $15 for kids and a maximum $75 per family (but if you can't spare the $25 don't let that keep you from coming and donating what you are able!) An opportunity to donate more will be provided. Donations can be made via cash, check (written to C3AK), PayPal, or via our online donation portal at www.c3ak.com/donate ALL proceeds will go directly to Nate and his expenses Live Stream will be available via YouTube Join Brother Will, an Alaska four piece acoustic group known for super tight harmonies, eclectic music covers, and a wide variety of music choices, for what will likely be their final Alaska show for some time... maybe forever. We'll be playing our latest sets from our Alaska State Fair shows, throwing in some previous years numbers, and we are proud to welcome special music from Bryan Goerisch, an accomplished entertainer and good friend to Nate. Also, special Cabaret Broadway music performances by: Corinne Johnson (Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen and recently seen as "Audrey" in AKapelle's production of Little Shop of Horrors ); Caroline Landis (recently seen as "Crystal" in AKapelle's production of Little Shop of Horrors) Eric Moll ( recently seen as "Mr Mushnik" in AKapelle's production of Little Shop of Horrors ) Kristofer Simmons (most recently seen as "Phoebus" in Central Washington University's production of Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame ) It's going to be a great time! Thank you and God Bless, Pastor Tracy And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 Text2Give any amount to: 84321 Use the online giving portal here: https://c3ak.churchcenter.com/giving Place checks or cash in an offering envelope and put it in the offering box on Sunday morning (we don't pass a hat or plate) Mail donations to: Christ Community Church, Alaska . 2222 West 100th Avenue .
